First, I would suggest you to be on Twitter atleast if you want to make money with writing. Both Twitter and LinkedIn are good for getting clients and hence earn.

For starting, publish 3-4 articles on Medium and make a good portfolio using Canva. Add the links to these 4 articles there. Most of the time, clients ask for samples or previous work to see if you are really capable. Medium articles will help you there.

Once you are done with your portfolio, search clients on Twitter or LinkedIn. Cold pitch them regularly.

Also, create tweets or linkedIn posts related to writing, these make your profile strong.

P.S. Decide an average rate for your services as well and eventually as you gain experience, increase it.
