Do not stop in the mid

We are left with only 110 days of this year 2022.

This number may look big to some people. But it has the ability to fly away in seconds. So, if you are hoping/planning to be a better version of yourself, the right time to make a change is now.

You and I want to grow. I want to be better professionally, physically and mentally as well. I told you mine. What are your plans?

One thing you need to know is that without proper planning, we can not upskill. It is always better to calculate in the beginning and then take steps as per the plan than to regret it later.

“A goal without a plan is just a wish.” ― Antoine de Saint-Exupéry,

But the question is how can you create your dream life by the end of this year?

Don’t worry. I got your back. The answer is simple i.e. by following these five super amazing steps —

Define Your Goals

In the remaining days, what do you want to accomplish?

What are the things you want to do?

List them down. Either in Notion or a paper — your choice.

You can not achieve anything until you do not know what exactly you want.

Yes. You make zero progress if you do not know your goals. How can you measure progress if you have not planned what type of growth you want in yourself? Can You?

No. You can’t. You can only say you are making more money when you know what was your income earlier.

Hence, in the days left, your first step must be to define what do you want to accomplish.

Analyze the Path You have to Walk on

Once you have defined your goals, now it’s time to plan. At this point, you need to think, rethink and then, create a system where you actually work and stay consistent with it.

For example, you can try the time blocking strategy which says that
you assign a specific time to a particular work as per your concentration level.

Didn’t understand?

Let me break it down for you.

If you are a writer and you get most ideas at night, set up your writing time between 21–24 hours. The time when you are least active and want to scroll through Instagram posts, you can devote it to engage on Medium and reply to the comments you received. Productive, right?

Weekly check

Okay, so you are working daily at regular and irregular periods. To keep a note of everything, you need a weekly check of your habits.

Try to have this on weekends when you are not working. Observe what, how and how much you are doing. Evaluate if your strategy is working for you or not and make changes accordingly.

Let’s gooooooo

Set realistic expectations

This one is super important. Many times, when we define our goals, we set a big goal to be achieved in one go.

Getting $50K in my bank account by this year, buying a Porsche and getting 100+clients in 2 weeks are some of those unrealistic expectations that we set on ourselves and when we fail at these, we fail terribly. Therefore, do not force yourself with rigid rules and expectations. Take baby steps and move forward.

Treat yourself

Listen up, you do not have to worry if others are supporting you or not. You are enough and you are your own biggest cheerleader. No matter how small or big your achievements are, learn to appreciate your efforts. Treat yourself with mouth-watering food, a trip or whatever you like.

Final Words

This year 2022 will soon say goodbye to us. I want both of us to step into 2023 with cute smiles on our faces. Let’s start by defining our objectives and accomplishing them so that we have no regrets when we welcome the next year.

Thanks for reading and take care :)
